Hi all,
I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that many of the Native Lakota people of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation are living in destitute and inhumane living conditions- right in the heart of America- I had to do something.
The mission of the Tipi Raisers is :Native Lakota and non-Native people working and playing together. Honoring indigenous wisdom, reconciling the complicated history we share and co-creating mutual understanding and humane, desirable living conditions on Pine Ridge and surrounding reservations. The LakotaRide is one of the organization's main fundraisers is also a Ride of Reconciliation. I am excited to be a part of helping them meet their fundraising goal and advance their mission.
