Paco Baca's Fundraiser
This is Paco - Can you support a cause near and dear to me!
Make a difference in the most deeply impoverished community in the US!
Dear friends and family,
The work of the nonprofit organization, the Tipi Raisers, which operates out of Denver and is near and dear to my heart!
They do volunteer work on Pine Ridge and The Hopi- Navajo Reservation
All 3 Reservations are in deep poverty and perpetual crisis related to deep poverty and widespread intergenerational trauma.
I would be so grateful if you would help support this organization in making a difference for families across the poverty stricken reservation.
I am going for my second week volunteer service trip in March in AZ.
Financial donations are appreciated but not the main priority
These are items needed to which I can pick up - text me at 720-385-9904:
Non-perishable food items
Rice beans cereal noodles canned items
Even some dog food would be nice
There are tons of stray dogs out there
Fire Wood
Sleeping Bags/Blankets
Clothes/Boots/Sneakers
Hygiene products
Yours truly, PACO
About the Tipi Raisers:
Tipi Raisers strives to build alliances and strengthen communities across cultures. Their volunteers work alongside the Lakota People on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota and in Hopi-Navajo country to ease conditions of poverty, honor Indigenous wisdom, reconcile the past and learn about one another’s cultures.
Their Youth Leadership program, Gen7, convenes, mobilizes and empowers Native and non-Native young leaders; building relationships, bridging cultural gaps and providing the tools and resources necessary to bring awareness to pressing issues and make genuine change in the world around them.
Tipi Raiser's Mission
Through a variety of collaborative and multicultural projects, we strive to alleviate conditions of poverty, honor Indigenous wisdom, reconcile our shared history with the Peoples of the First Nations and empower youth with the leadership skills needed to affect social change in their communities.
